Senate President honors 17 top-performing companies

On Thursday March 31, Mr. Gérard Larcher, President of the French Senate, presented awards to 17 French companies for the performance of their management approaches based on the EFQM excellence model. This important recognition came at the close of the first Senate Business Day.

On Thursday March 31, Mr. Gérard Larcher, President of the French Senate, presented awards to 17 French companies for the performance of their management approaches based on the EFQM excellence model. This important recognition came at the close of the first Senate Business Day.

The Senate Business Delegation organized the first Business Day on March 31, 2016, as a continuation of initiatives undertaken to encourage growth and employment in the territories. The end of the day, organized in partnership with the AFNOR group, provided an opportunity to share the success factors observed within several high-performance companies.

The President of the French Senate, Gérard Larcher, was on hand to award diplomas to 17 companies selected for their excellent management approach, already recognized according to the EFQM ( European Foundation for Quality Management) model.

Agility, leadership, the development of strategies that integrate their stakeholders, team involvement and the continuous improvement of products and services are all common to these companies.

About the Senate Business Delegation

Created at the end of 2014 at the initiative of Senate President Gérard LARCHER, this delegation, made up of 42 senators appointed by proportional representation of political groups, is responsible for informing the Senate about the situation of businesses, identifying obstacles to their development and proposing measures to encourage entrepreneurship and simplify regulatory standards applicable to economic activity, with a view to encouraging growth and employment in the territories.
