The 7th edition of the responsible purchasing barometer is launched
Is responsible purchasing a priority for organizations in 2015? If so, why? What motivates those who take action? Is it for image reasons or to cut costs? Do buyers seek to limit the impact of their purchases on their suppliers? Which levers are favored? These are just some of the questions that buyers from all walks of life are invited to answer online, as part of the 7th Sustainable Purchasing Barometer.
The AFNOR Group supports this initiative as it contributes to the development of collective intelligence and will help organizations to position themselves and progress in terms of responsible purchasing. By completing this survey, all respondents will receive a presentation of the results, which will be published in early 2016.
Until December 31, private and public players can participate free of charge and anonymously. The results will be processed by Opinion Way.
THE MAIN RESULTS OF THE PREVIOUS EDITION
At the end of 2014, the 6th edition of the barometer had revealed the following trends: for 1 in 3 purchasing managers, responsible purchasing was a priority, with 1 in 10 seeing no interest in it and 1 in 2 remaining to be consolidated. Another lesson is the continuing professionalization of purchasers in the implementation of sustainable purchasing objectives, which have been put into practice and made operational in companies and public services, although there are some glaring shortcomings (poor consideration of overall cost and eco-design) and some worrying “failures” (slippage in payment times).
