Discover an interactive infographic on the 3 years of the Nord-Pas de Calais region eco-design competition.
Three editions of the Eco-Conception competition have been co-organized since 2012 by the [avniR] platform, the CCI Grand Lille with the support of ADEME and the Conseil Régional Nord-Pas de Calais, in partnership with the AFNOR group. Each year, we have identified and highlighted companies that have integrated environmental criteria right from the design phase of their products or services.
The 24 winning companies received an AFAQ eco-design assessment and training in sustainable communication and marketing, to help them continue to progress.
This interactive infographic shows a progression in the results obtained by the companies evaluated, year after year. Above all, it provides food for thought for all companies, indicating the levers used to eco-design.

About AFAQ eco-design assessment
The AFAQ eco-design assessment is a voluntary initiative. Carried out by AFNOR Certification, it provides companies with a precise, objective assessment of their approach: from a simple inventory to the recognition of efforts already underway. The company is provided with concrete avenues for progress, while taking a preventive approach to the product or service design process. Armed with this objective opinion and certificate, the company can differentiate itself from the competition and develop its environmental communications, by displaying a level of maturity (initial, progression, confirmed, exemplary) corresponding to the number of points obtained during the assessment.
AFAQ eco-design is based on a product-oriented environmental management approach: the assessment incorporates the requirements of the ISO 9001 (quality) and ISO 14001 (environment) standards, and their ISO TR 14062 and ISO 14006 versions, concerning the integration of environmental aspects into product design and development.
