Is ISO 50001 a springboard for your regulatory obligations?

Do you work in the service sector? The “tertiary sector decree” requires you to improve the energy performance of your buildings, with an initial deadline of 2030. In this respect, ISO 50001 puts you in the driving seat, as it gives you the framework for identifying, selecting, monitoring and measuring the right consumption data, and getting staff involved. As soon as the decree comes into force, you’ll know how to organize yourself to identify the right savings opportunities, roll out an action plan, assess the extent to which they are bearing fruit, and extend these gains over time. What’s more, you’ll be ready to fill in the future computerized platform for consumption data collection, run by ADEME, from January 1, 2020. This is achieved by involving your entire organization in a formalized management system.
