Engineers are responsible for providing certification services, whether for systems, products, services or skills. They operate in a wide variety of sectors. In addition to their technical skills, they contribute to customer satisfaction and loyalty. They are also project managers, managing a variety of applications within an ecosystem.

Assistants are an indispensable link in the team, playing a supportive role and contributing to cohesion. Autonomous in their work, they play an active role in maintaining customer relations, within the framework of the sales policy defined by the Group. Assistants are involved at different levels and in all our activities: sales, sales administration, project management, management, support… offering a multidisciplinary approach to their activity.

This is the core business of certification, one of the Group’s four activities. The AFNOR auditor, whether an employee of the Group or an external party, carries out audits and assessments in accordance with the procedures and regulations specific to each standard. It is he who drives sales, marketing and technological development in each of the AFNOR group’s four entities: standardization, certification, publishing and training. The talent of the AFNOR developer lies in his ability to organize his activity into three phases: lobbying intelligence, to identify players and integrate strategic networks; the development plan, where he draws up his strategy and promotes it to market players; and meeting customer expectations, with whom he is a support, capable of proposing and ensuring follow-up.

The AFNOR trainer must have previous experience in the field of standardization and certification, in addition to their traditional training role. His sense of pedagogy goes beyond the mere development of a technique; it’s more an aspect of his personality. In his day-to-day work, he acts as a facilitator and trainer for inter-company and intra-company courses. It is to him that the group, through its subsidiary AFNOR Compétencessubsidiary, is responsible for promoting the quality and added value of the services it markets.

At AFNOR, a documentalist combines a sense of anticipation, the pleasure of organization and writing skills. It provides technical support, both internally and for the Group’s external customers. It provides information on the existence and content of French, European, international and foreign standards and regulations. It is able to identify equivalences between standards or regulations according to their origin. He or she is directly involved in the design and production of new information products and documentary tools. AFNOR documentalists master both paper and electronic media with equal precision.
