“AFNOR c’est nous”, the AFNOR video on disability
Under the slogan “AFNOR c’est nous!”, the Group commissioned Séquences clés, an adapted company, to produce a video illustrating the mobilization of employees on the subject of disability.
Equal rights and opportunities for all are an employer priority at AFNOR. Under the slogan “AFNOR c’est nous!”, the Group commissioned Séquences clés, an adapted company, to produce a video illustrating the mobilization of employees on the subject of disability. Several of them speak out in the film, along with Olivier Peyrat, CEO of the AFNOR Group, and Laurence Breton-Kueny, Director of Human Resources.
In 2015, the Group’s Mission Handicap also produced two disability-related documents:
- a guide for managers, explaining the context, how to recruit and integrate a disabled person, what the adapted sector is and why it’s important to use it.
- frequently asked questions (FAQ) designed to provide answers to questions about disability in the workplace and in personal life.
Lastly, a third agreement in favor of the employment of disabled people, running from 2015 to 2019, has demonstrated the success of the previous two and the need to pursue actions, even if the vision of disability has changed, as demonstrated by the film “AFNOR, c’est nous!”. At December 31, 2015, the AFNOR Group employed 28 disabled staff, compared with 10 in 2005.
