Industry of the future: the AFNOR group supports projects by companies in Western France
The AFNOR group has been approved by the Occitanie region to support the transformation projects of VSEs, SMEs and ETIs towards the industry of the future. 400 companies are already eligible.
Long live the factory of the future! On February 5, 2020, the Occitanie Region kicked off an ambitious project, co-financed with the State as part of the major national plan “10,000 SMEs towards the industry of the future” launched in September 2018. 400 industrial companies in the region can benefit from this program for their transformation projects, with a program combining diagnosis, advice and support.
Industry of the future: all sectors eligible
Any industrial company with fewer than 5,000 employees based in the Occitanie region can benefit from this scheme. The aim is to support the competitiveness and attractiveness of regional companies, by helping them deploy new management methods, modernize their production processes in line with the challenges they face, and meet new requirements in terms of environmental and social responsibility.
To help them achieve this, the AFNOR group is offering a unique support system, in partnership with the Bosch plant in Rodez, the first company to be awarded the “Vitrine de l’industrie du futur” label, and the Stratéis consultancy specializing in change management.
A strategic and operational approach to Industry 4.0
As requested by the Region, we offer a 5-day 360-degree diagnosis, followed by 25 days of optional support, to help companies make a lasting commitment to their transformation towards the industry of the future,” explains Patrice Garcia, AFNOR’s Occitanie representative. Using an organizational architect’s approach, we combined internationally proven methods, such as the EFQM model, to help managers steer transformation projects; and a “technological transformation” approach with the Bosch team, which will be keen to promote skills transfer. The aim is to provide advice and recommendations to improve competitiveness, reliability and performance. ”
