This book uses process modeling to build a shared vision of objectives and operating modes. It also leads to the development of software tools to ensure the capitalization of knowledge that can be shared by the various players in a network (customers, suppliers, subcontractors, etc.).
In 2014, Bernard Tanous received the Performance Trophy awarded by the CCI and the Club des pilotes de processus for its work on the O.B.M(Operation Based Manufacturing) model. In this book, he shares his experience, know-how, methods and tools to help modern industrial companies meet the many challenges they face.
The author
Bernard Tanous is the designer of several ERP(Enterprise Resource Planning ) systems developed using the process approach. The O.B.M/A.B.E concept presented in this book was introduced at the International Congress of Industrial Engineering in 2001. It has been used in numerous industrial management software programs and in a process design tool: Evolution LEAN+. The OPD(Optimized Process Design ) method, associated with this software, is taught in various engineering schools and masters programs in France.
