Vocational training: 500 days to request a Qualiopi audit (remote)
Have you decided to have your quality approach certified on the basis of the national quality standards to be published in June 2019? You can display the Qualiopi certificate, of which AFNOR Certification is one of the certifying bodies. And for four years now. You have until January1, 2022 to obtain it. Order your audit today – it can be carried out remotely!
J – 500 ! By January1, 2022, vocational training providers will have to display a certificate, issued by an independent third-party certifying body, stating that they have implemented a quality approach. This is one of the provisions of the law of September 5, 2018, which initially gave continuing education organizations and skills assessment or VAE centers a deadline of January1, 2021, but granted existing apprentice training centers (CFAs) a one-year reprieve. From now on, all regulated players are aligned with this January1, 2022 deadline, the health crisis linked to covid-19 having delayed certain procedures. A decree dated July 22, 2020 ratifies these new provisions. But that’s no reason to wait until the last minute!

Qualiopi: a certificate valid for four years instead of three
Since June 2019, vocational training providers have known what criteria and indicators to base their quality policy on: these are those of the National Quality Reference System (RNQ). The RNQ is the minimum requirement, and gives those who are certified on this grid the opportunity to display a certificate bearing a trademark registered by the French Ministry of Labor: “Qualiopi”. AFNOR Certification has been accredited by Cofrac to conduct RNQ-based audits since early 2020, and can now award the Qualiopi mark to its customers. It had already been authorized to do so since September 2019, but now has official COFRAC accreditation (accreditation certificate n°5-0030, scope available at www.cofrac.org). In addition, for all those granted in 2019 and 2020, the certificate will be valid for four years, instead of three, again due to disruptions linked to the covid-19 crisis, and again under the decree of July 22, 2020. As a result, the surveillance audit should take place between the 14th and 28th month. But then again, that’s no reason to wait until the last minute! Especially since the initial audit can be carried out remotely, if it is carried out before January1, 2021, states a decree dated July 24, 2020 (french only). In return, the surveillance audit will have to be carried out on site.
” Qualiopi will make it easier for companies and users to understand the training on offer. Above all, it will attest to the quality of the process implemented by providers of skills development initiatives, whether they be training initiatives, skills assessments, initiatives to validate acquired experience (VAE) or apprenticeship training initiatives. “comments Sandrine Carbonaro, who monitors this market for the AFNOR group(on the left in the photo). For those who hold it, this certificate is a veritable “work permit”: without it, by January1, 2022, publicly-funded training courses will no longer be possible.
Stand out from the crowd with NF Service Formation and ISO 9001 for training organizations
Qualiopi is the key certification, but AFNOR Certification offers others for those who want to stand out from the crowd: NF Service Formation and the sector-specific version of AFAQ ISO 9001, two distinguishing marks that today give their holders a head start on the 2022 obligation. ” Good to know: if you already hold one or the other, you benefit from shorter audit times for Qualiopi certification “, explains Philippe Bourdalé, head of this offering at AFNOR Certification(on the right in the photo).
