The partnership is built around events organized by IDEAL Connaissances, during which the AFNOR group provides its expertise to IDEAL Connaissances network professionals. Thanks to this partnership, the AFNOR Group’s range of services is brought to the attention of 70,000 users of the 50 professional communities managed by IDEAL Connaissances.

2014: a very positive result

AFNOR is particularly involved in the “Reception and customer relations” network. The group organized web conferences and technical meetings there throughout 2014. As part of their partnership, the two companies are also involved in the “Rencontres Nationales Accueil et Relations aux usagers”. They bring together local authority professionals from the IDEAL Connaissances networks. The third edition of the event took place in Enghien Les Bains in October 2014.

At the end of the meeting, the AFNOR group awarded trophies to the local authorities with the most effective customer relations. This barometer enables them to assess their users’ actual perception of the quality of their customer services. But that’s not all. AFNOR also gave web-conferences on other networks, which attracted large audiences. AFNOR’s presentation on “New regulations, standardization and the management of DT procedures” was seen by 123 people live, including 100 remotely.

2015: developing partnerships

The aim for 2015 is to continue developing the “Reception and customer relations” network. Today, the network counts 1,446 professionals, but the short-term ambition is to exceed 1,800 users. In addition, two technical meetings and six web conferences are planned by the AFNOR group within the IDEAL Connaissances networks. Next date to remember: on April 1, a web-conference on “Open Data: what return on investment for local authorities?

Finally, over 250 participants are expected to attend the 4th Rencontres Nationales Accueil et Usagers. AFNOR will be giving three speeches in the plenary session, as well as introducing and concluding the meetings. AFNOR will also be working on other networks. The theme of water service governance will be addressed within the Water network. On the Energy network, AFNOR will, among other things, be speaking on the subject of “Smart cities”. Once again, the company is counting on these events to raise its profile in the sector and bring its expertise to local authority professionals. In short, an Ideal partnership.
