Do away with plastic checkout bags: opt for standardized compostable bags

This Friday, July 1, the ban on non-reusable plastic carrier bags (whether free of charge or for a fee) officially comes into force in France. Alternatives for consumers, distributors and manufacturers include compostable bags made from plant-based materials. But they still have to meet the required criteria. For this, the French standard T51-800 is the right solution.
