“Responsible learning”, the new book by Yves Cimbaro and Thomas Vilcot
Apprenticeship is at the heart of the political and economic news: the 2 authors propose to rehabilitate it as a solution of excellence and to bring school and company closer together. A plea by Yves Cimbaro and Thomas Vilcot, published by AFNOR.
The place of apprenticeships in the French education system is once again the subject of debate. Yet it is a training path of excellence and facilitates professional integration, provided it is repositioned.
Yves Cimbaro and Thomas Vilcot argue in favor of upgrading the socio-economic model of apprenticeship. Their new book highlights the added value of apprenticeship schemes (for the young apprentice, for companies and their regions, for higher education establishments). It also lays down some very enlightening milestones, enabling us to enhance the role of the apprenticeship master, simplify regulations, and develop the international dimension and e-apprenticeship.
