PNEUMASK
Winning project : marketing of an adapter that transforms a snorkeling mask into protective equipment for nursing staff in intensive care units. The Pneumask consortium is made up of researchers, test laboratories, healthcare regulatory experts, fablabs and manufacturers (including Décathlon and BIC).
AFNOR SPEC “BARRIER MASKS
The winning project : in just one week, 150 experts in an AFNOR working group chaired by Honeywell developed a reference document inviting everyone to make an effective barrier mask. Called AFNOR SPEC S76-001, this document has been downloaded 1.3 million times since it was made available at the end of March 2020, at a time when anti-covid masks were in short supply.
